Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BNYPay will oversee all financial strategy, planning, and operations to support the company’s growth in the digital payments sector. This full-time, in office role is based in Varanasi and includes responsibility for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The CFO will lead the preparation, review, and interpretation of financial statements and reports, monitor cash flow, and manage capital allocation to optimize financial performance.

Daily responsibilities include overseeing accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory and tax requirements,



maintaining robust internal controls, and managing risk across the organization. The role also involves partnering with senior leadership on strategic initiatives, advising on investment decisions, supporting financing activities, and presenting financial insights to stakeholders and the board.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Finance and Analytical Skills to drive data-informed decision-making and strategic financial planning.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Planning and Financial Reporting to manage budgets, forecasts, and performance dashboards effectively.
- Candidates should possess deep knowledge of Financial Statements to interpret, analyze, and communicate financial health to leadership and stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in corporate finance, treasury management, and risk management, ideally within fintech, payments, or technology-driven businesses.
- Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, such as CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent, with responsibility for strategy, governance, and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to financial services and digital payments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and influence executive decision-making.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, CFA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent is highly preferred.
