VectorShades is looking for experienced Team Checkers to join our SDS2 team!

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel detailing.
- Proficiency in SDS2 with robust knowledge of AISC standards.
- Familiarity with US structural steel detailing practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Responsibilities

- Good Checking knowledge in Main Steel & Misc structures like Ladder, Handrails, stairs and Platforms.
- Able to conduct a thorough job study along with mismatching & missing details being noted and raised as RFI.
- Study/Review & understand the available General Arrangement drawings.
- Knowledge in Paint Finish, Material Grade, Bolt Grade and Weld Specifications.
- Ability to check 2D and 3D model in SDS/2 as per client specifications.
- Ensure all RFI responses and checking comments are incorporated in the model.
- Knowledge in Template checking and reports preparation with respect to client requirement.
- Ability to check single part drawings, shop drawings, erection drawings with related reports and NC files.
- Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
- Experience and practical knowledge of steel detailing as per the standards.
