Role Description The Buyer role at Tynor Orthotics Private Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Chandigarh. The Buyer is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, including identifying suppliers, requesting and evaluating quotations, negotiating prices and terms, and issuing purchase orders in line with company policies. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring inventory levels, coordinating closely with production, warehousing, and quality teams to ensure timely availability of materials, and tracking order status to resolve delays or discrepancies.

The Buyer maintains accurate purchasing records,



analyzes costs, and supports vendor performance evaluations to optimize quality, delivery, and pricing. The role also involves continuously reviewing market trends, sourcing alternatives, and contributing to process improvements in the supply chain.

Qualifications

- Strong procurement and purchasing skills, including supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management.
- Ability to manage inventory and materials planning, with experience in coordinating with production and logistics teams.
- Proficiency in basic data analysis, cost comparison, and use of ERP or purchasing software for order tracking and reporting.
- Solid understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes, preferably within medical devices, orthotics, or related industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven workplace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in manufacturing or healthcare products, is highly beneficial.
