About the RoleGauri Buildcon Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient Billing Engineer with strong knowledge of civil construction, quantity estimation, billing, and contractor bill verification.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing and verifying bills, calculating quantities from drawings, preparing BOQs and BBS, and identifying discrepancies in measurements, quantities, and costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and verify quantities for excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering/formwork, and reinforcement steel.
- Read and interpret 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD.
- Perform quantity estimation and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
- Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement quantities.
- Prepare and check RA bills, running bills, and contractor bills.
- Maintain and verify Measurement Books (MB) and ensure accuracy of recorded quantities.
- Cross-check contractor bills against approved drawings, site measurements, BOQs, and applicable contract terms.
- Calculate quantities for civil construction activities and verify measurements against actual work executed.
- Identify billing errors, quantity mismatches, variations, and discrepancies in cost calculations.




- Analyse quantity variations and assist in preparing variation statements and cost comparisons.
- Coordinate with site engineers, project teams, and contractors to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of measurements, bills, quantities, and supporting documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in civil construction billing and quantity estimation.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, including 2D and 3D drawings.
- Practical knowledge of excavation, PCC, RCC, shuttering/formwork, and reinforcement estimation.
- Strong understanding of BOQ, BBS, RA bills, running bills, and Measurement Books (MB).
- Experience in contractor bill verification and quantity reconciliation.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and quantity calculation skills.
- Ability to identify billing discrepancies, quantity errors, variations, and cost mismatches.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in calculations.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
