THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team and support the day-to-day financial operations of the business.

From maintaining accurate financial records to tracking payments, reconciling transactions and supporting monthly reporting, you’ll play an important role in keeping our finances organised and our business running smoothly.

We’re particularly interested in someone who has worked in a D2C or e-commerce business and understands the nuances of online sales, payment gateways, marketplace settlements and day-to-day financial transactions.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Accounting & Bookkeeping

· Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate financial entries.

· Record sales, purchases, expenses, receipts and payments.

· Maintain and update ledgers, vouchers and supporting financial documents.

· Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

D2C & E-commerce Accounting

· Track sales and settlements across D2C platforms, marketplaces and payment gateways.

· Reconcile orders, refunds, returns, commissions,



payment gateway charges and settlements.

· Monitor outstanding payments and identify discrepancies in sales and settlement reports.

· Coordinate with internal teams to resolve transaction mismatches and payment-related queries.

Bank Reconciliation & Reporting

· Perform regular bank reconciliations and match transactions against accounting records.

· Assist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.

· Track business expenses and maintain expense statements.

· Support month-end closing activities and ensure financial records are up to date.

Compliance & Documentation

· Maintain organised records of invoices, bills, receipts and other financial documents.

· Assist with GST-related documentation, TDS records and other statutory compliance requirements.

· Coordinate with external accountants, auditors or consultants as required.

· Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and recorded.

Cross-functional Coordination

· Work with the operations, sales and other internal teams to collect invoices and resolve accounting queries.

· Follow up on pending payments, vendor bills and outstanding receivables.

· Support the finance team with routine accounting and administrative tasks.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

· 1+ year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a D2C, e-commerce or consumer products business.

· Prior experience working in a D2C business is a must.

· Basic understanding of bookkeeping, ledger maintenance,



bank reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable.

· Familiarity with sales reconciliation, payment gateway settlements, refunds and marketplace transactions.

· Working knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books or similar accounting software.

· Good working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.

· Basic understanding of GST, TDS and accounting documentation.

· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and organisational skills.

· Someone who takes ownership, follows up proactively and is comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
