Role Description The Accounts Assistant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai, requiring immediate joining. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities such as recording financial transactions, handling petty cash, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.

The Accounts

Assistant will support credit control processes, including follow-up on outstanding payments and maintaining accurate records of customer accounts.

Responsibilities also include preparing basic financial reports, reconciling statements,



coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company finance procedures. The role requires timely and clear communication to support smooth operations within the accounts and logistics teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including familiarity with basic bookkeeping and financial record management.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Credit Control and Petty Cash handling to support day-to-day accounts operations.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with internal teams, clients, and vendors in a explicit and professional manner.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic accounting software tools.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Candidates should possess a relevant educational background in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; prior experience in logistics or freight forwarding is an advantage.
