Role Description The Assistant Professor (Anatomy) will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in anatomy through lectures, small-group sessions, and practical demonstrations, ensuring clarity of concepts and strong foundational knowledge. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering course content, preparing teaching materials, supervising laboratory and dissection sessions, and assessing student performance through tests, assignments, and examinations. The role also involves mentoring students, supporting academic advising, contributing to curriculum development aligned with current medical and healthcare standards, and participating in departmental meetings and academic committees.

Professor is expected to engage in scholarly activities such as academic research, publishing, and continuous professional development in anatomical sciences and medical education.



This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic training in Anatomy or a closely related discipline (e.g., MD Anatomy, MS Anatomy, or equivalent postgraduate qualification) from a recognized institution.
- Strong teaching abilities, including lesson planning, classroom management, and effective communication with diverse learners.
- Proficiency in practical anatomy instruction, including cadaveric dissection, laboratory guidance, and demonstration of anatomical structures using models and digital tools.
- Foundational research skills, such as literature review, data collection, and preparation of academic papers or presentations in medical or anatomical sciences.
- Familiarity with modern educational technologies and learning management systems for delivering and tracking course content.
- Commitment to ethical academic practices, student-centered learning, and collaboration with colleagues in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Prior teaching experience in anatomy or related medical subjects is highly beneficial; experience within higher education or medical colleges is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad on a full-time schedule and contribute to departmental growth and institutional initiatives.
