Role Description The Articled Assistant will support audit, assurance, taxation, and advisory assignments under the supervision of senior team members in a full time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, performing vouching and verification, preparing working papers and schedules, and helping with financial statement finalization. The role also involves supporting direct and indirect tax compliances, including return preparation, basic tax computations, and documentation.

The Articled

Assistant will contribute to research on accounting, tax, and regulatory matters,



assist in valuation and financial planning projects, and maintain organized records and workpapers. This is a hybrid role based in Mumbai, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility, depending on assignment requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong grounding in accounting, auditing, and taxation concepts, with the ability to apply them in practical assignments.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with accounting and tax software; willingness to learn new digital tools.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in teams and interact professionally with clients.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound documentation habits to ensure accuracy and audit-ready workpapers.
- High level of integrity, professional ethics, and commitment to meeting deadlines in a structured training environment.
- Enrollment as an article trainee under the Chartered Accountants program (per applicable institute requirements), with successful completion of prerequisite exams.
- Strong learning orientation and openness to exposure across auditing, tax advisory, financial planning, valuation, and CFO support services.
