We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented procurement professional to lead our Capex & Projects Procurement function, driving strategic sourcing, commercial excellence, cost optimization, and timely project execution.

Position: Assistant General Manager (AGM) – Capex & Projects Procurement

Qualification: B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

? Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement for Capex, project materials, equipment, and services.

? Commercial Negotiations: Drive supplier negotiations, optimize procurement costs, and finalize competitive commercial terms.

? Project Execution: Ensure timely material availability to meet project schedules and Target Completion Dates (TCD).

? Vendor Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers to strengthen the vendor base.

? Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Projects, Finance, and other internal teams for seamless procurement execution.

? Cost Optimization:



Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines.

? Team Leadership & Compliance: Lead the procurement team while ensuring adherence to procurement policies, approval processes, and contractual requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile A technically sound and commercially strong professional with expertise in Capex & Projects Procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
