About the Role

D A R Jewellery is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Jewellery Showroom Staff Trainer to train and develop our showroom employees. The ideal candidate should have robust knowledge of jewellery retail operations, customer handling, sales techniques, and staff performance improvement.

The candidate will be responsible for improving the sales team's product knowledge, customer service standards, communication skills, and overall showroom sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions for jewellery showroom sales executives and other retail staff.
- Train employees on gold, silver, diamond, and antique jewellery product knowledge.
- Educate staff on 22-carat gold, BIS 916 hallmarking, HUID, jewellery pricing, making charges, and wastage calculations.
- Develop effective customer handling, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Train employees to identify customer needs and recommend suitable jewellery products.
- Improve upselling, cross-selling, customer conversion, and average bill value.
- Train staff on showroom etiquette, grooming, professional behaviour, and customer experience.
- Conduct onboarding and induction programmes for new employees.
- Prepare training materials, product knowledge guides, presentations, and sales scripts.
- Evaluate employee performance through assessments, role-plays, and practical demonstrations.
- Conduct regular refresher training and identify individual training requirements.
- Coordinate with showroom managers to identify sales performance gaps and implement improvement plans.
- Monitor the impact of training on sales targets,



customer satisfaction, and employee productivity.
- Travel to different showroom locations for staff training whenever required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–5 years of experience in jewellery retail, showroom operations, staff training, or sales development preferred.
- Strong knowledge of gold jewellery and jewellery showroom sales processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and coach employees.
- Strong understanding of customer service and retail sales techniques.
- Good organisational and reporting skills.
- Ability to conduct practical training sessions and assess employee performance.
- Willingness to travel to company showrooms when required.
