Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and result-oriented Assistant Manager – PPC to manage production planning, manpower allocation, production schedules, and daily progress monitoring. The candidate will coordinate with Production Engineers and other departments to ensure production targets are achieved on time with efficient utilization of resources.

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, fabrication, modular furniture, interior fit-out production, uPVC, aluminium, or similar industries are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with Production Engineers and supervisors to allocate work and monitor progress.
- Track actual production against planned targets and take corrective action for delays.
- Monitor manpower availability, machine utilization, materials, and production capacity.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Sales, and Dispatch teams to ensure material availability and timely delivery.
- Review pending orders, production status, bottlenecks, and delivery commitments.
- Conduct daily production review meetings and prepare progress reports for management.
- Follow up with Engineers to ensure work completion within the planned timeline.
- Identify production delays and implement solutions to improve productivity.
- Maintain production schedules,



daily reports, work orders, and planning records.
- Ensure effective communication between planning and shop-floor teams.
- Monitor resource utilization and support continuous improvement in production efficiency.

Required Skills

- Strong production planning and scheduling skills.
- Team handling and coordination with Engineers and supervisors.
- Ability to set targets, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- Good problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Knowledge of Excel and production reporting.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Solid communication and organizational skills.

Eligibility

- Experience: 4–8 years in manufacturing, production planning, or PPC.
- Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience in uPVC/aluminium manufacturing, fabrication, modular furniture, interior fit-out production, or similar industries will be an advantage.
- Candidates must have practical experience in production planning, team coordination, and progress monitoring.

Salary: Negotiable based on experience and current salary.
