Hiring Partner : AP Digital Innovations

About the Role

AP Digital Innovations is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in the healthcare technology sector for the role of Finance Controller / Finance Manager - Billing & Accounting .

This role will lead the finance operations, billing processes, financial controls, and compliance functions , ensuring the organization maintains strong financial discipline while supporting business growth.

The position requires a finance leader who can manage high-volume billing environments, oversee accounts receivable and payable operations, and drive automation across financial systems .

Key ResponsibilitiesBilling & Financial Operations

- Manage client billing operations , ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation.
- Handle high-volume billing environments with 4,000+ invoices generated monthly .
- Reduce billing discrepancies, corrections, credit notes, and customer queries through process improvements.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes to ensure timely collections.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) processes ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments.
- Improve validation, payment workflows, and purchase order processes.

Financial Control & Compliance

- Ensure all accounting activities comply with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal policies .
- Manage statutory audits, internal audits, and financial controls .
- Oversee legal, compliance, and secretarial financial processes where applicable.




- Maintain strong financial governance and reporting standards.

Strategic Financial Planning

- Track company performance against financial forecasts and business targets .
- Collaborate with business leaders and department heads to identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Coordinate with FP&A; and analytics teams for financial planning, forecasting, and revenue analysis .
- Support fundraising plans, capital structure planning, and investment evaluation.

Financial Reporting & Stakeholder Management

- Prepare and present financial reports, insights, and performance metrics to leadership .
- Develop dashboards and management reports for strategic decision-making .
- Work closely with leadership teams to provide financial insights supporting growth initiatives .

Mandatory Requirements

- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory :

- Minimum 6+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience post-qualification :

- At least 2+ years of experience leading a finance function or working as a Finance Controller :

- Experience in healthcare, insurance, benefits administration, or complex service-based business models :

- Hands-on experience managing both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) :





- Experience working in high-volume billing environments with 4,000+ invoices per month :

- Familiarity with Zoho Books / Zoho Finance or similar ERP systems :

- Strong exposure to statutory compliance, audits, and financial controls :

- Experience in budget planning and preparation of Annual Operating Plans (AOP)
