Sales Associate drives company revenue by providing excellent customer service, assisting with product selection, and processing transactions in a retail setting. Key duties include greeting customers, maintaining store appearance, managing inventory, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service : Greet customers, understand their needs, and provide recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Sales Generation : Actively assist customers to drive sales, upselling/cross-selling complementary products, and achieving individual/team targets.
- Transactions : Accurately process payments (cash, credit, digital) and handle returns/exchanges using POS systems.
- Merchandising & Inventory : Maintain a clean, organized sales floor; restock shelves; and assist with inventory counts.




- Product Knowledge : Stay updated on product features, promotions, and loyalty programs to answer customer questions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Communication : Robust verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
- Interpersonal Skills : Ability to build rapport with customers.
- Physical Stamina : Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Retail Experience : Previous experience in retail or customer service is often preferred.
