Job Summary

The Assistant Professor in Psychology is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to academic and administrative activities within the department. The role requires a strong foundation in psychological theories, research methodologies, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Qualification Requirements :

- Master’s degree in Psychology (mandatory).
- Ph.D. in Psychology (preferred/required as per institution norms).
- NET/SET qualification (as per regulatory requirements in India, e.g., UGC norms).
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies and statistical tools (SPSS, R, etc.).
- Prior teaching or research experience preferred.





Teaching & Academic Duties :

- Deliver lectures in core areas of psychology (e.g., cognitive, social, clinical, developmental).
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, and lesson plans.
- Use innovative teaching methods (case studies, discussions, digital tools).
- Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and projects.
- Supervise student research, dissertations, and internships.

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
