Job Summary

The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for supervising, maintaining, and improving all electrical systems within the food and beverage production facility. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical equipment, utilities, and automation systems while supporting continuous production and food safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Operations & Maintenance

- Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including:

- Power distribution systems

- Motors, drives, and control panels

- PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems

- Lighting, utilities, and emergency power systems

- Ensure mínimal downtime through preventive and predictive maintenance programs

- Troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to support uninterrupted production

Supervision & Team Leadership

- Lead, train, and schedule electrical technicians and contractors
- Assign daily work orders and prioritize tasks based on production needs
- Ensure team compliance with safety procedures, SOPs, and GMP standards
- Evaluate team performance and support skill development

Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Enforce electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and permit systems

- Ensure compliance with:

- Local electrical codes

- Food safety standards (GMP, HACCP)

- Company EHS policies

- Participate in audits and inspections (internal and external)

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation





Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency
- Support equipment upgrades, new installations, and plant expansion projects
- Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to optimize processes

QualificationsEducation & Certification

- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Valid electrical license or certification (as per local regulations)

Experience

- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
- Experience in food & beverage, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred

Technical Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and automation
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Understanding of food industry compliance and hygiene requirements
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics

- Ability to work under pressure in a production workplace
- Organized and safety-focused mindset

Working Conditions

- Manufacturing plant environment
- Shift work and on-call availability may be required

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
