Role Description The Printing Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. This role involves designing print-ready artwork for a variety of materials such as packaging, posters, brochures, signage, and other marketing collateral, ensuring alignment with each brand’s visual identity. The Printing Designer will prepare and proof files for print production, manage layout, color, and typography, and collaborate with account managers, brand strategists, and clients to refine concepts and meet project requirements. Daily responsibilities also include coordinating with print vendors, reviewing samples, resolving pre-press issues, and maintaining quality and consistency across all printed outputs.



The role requires balancing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and adhering to brand guidelines while contributing creative ideas to enhance overall visual communication.

Qualifications

- Solid skills in print-focused graphic design, including layout, color theory, and typography.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design and pre-press tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and PDF workflows).
- Experience preparing print-ready files, working with different printing techniques (digital, offset, screen), and understanding paper types and finishing processes.
- Ability to interpret brand guidelines, develop visual concepts, and adapt designs across packaging, advertising, and other print formats.
- Attention to detail for proofreading artwork, checking specifications, and ensuring accurate output from concept to final print.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and external print vendors.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet production deadlines.
- Relevant education in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or a related field; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
- Prior experience in a print production, advertising, or branding environment is an advantage.
