We are looking for a creative and hands-on Fashion Designer who can conceptualize and develop current collections in Ajrak, Kalamkari, and other handcrafted têxtiles .

This role involves working closely with artisans and production teams to bring fresh, market-relevant designs to life — from idea to final product.

Key Responsibilities Collection Ideation (Primary Responsibility)

- Develop new collection ideas based on:

- Customer preferences

- Seasonal trends (summer, festive, wedding, winter)

- Work on categories like:

- Ajrak suits

- Kalamkari suits

- Handblock printed sets

- Create moodboards, themes, and concepts for each collection

Product Development & Sampling

- Select fabrics, colors, and prints suitable for each collection

- Develop design prototypes and samples :

- Work closely with:

- Cutting master

- Stitching team

- Understitching staff

- Ensure proper fit, finish, and quality of samples

Execution & Coordination

- Oversee the sampling to final production process :





- Maintain timelines for collection launches

Market & Trend Understanding

- Study customer buying patterns and preferences
- Analyze competitors and current trends in ethnic wear
- Suggest new product ideas based on demand

Requirements :

- 1-3 years of experience in:

- Fashion design / ethnic wear / handcrafted têxtiles

- Strong knowledge of:

- Ajrak, Kalamkari, and handblock printing

- Fabric types (cotton, mulmul, silk blends, etc.)

- Hands-on experience in:

- Sampling & garment construction

- Ability to coordinate with production teams

Skills Required

- Creative thinking & design sensibility
- Strong understanding of color combinations & prints
- Attention to detail (fit, finishing, fabric suitability)
- Basic knowledge of design tools (optional but helpful)

Pay: ₹11,193.15 - ₹25,000.00 per month
