Job Summary : The Branch Auditor is responsible for conducting regular audits of showroom operations, inventory, and financial records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies within the diamond/jewellery business.

Key Responsibilities:1. Showroom Audit & Verification

- Visit assigned showrooms as per audit schedule
- Conduct physical verification of diamond and jewellery stock
- Match physical inventory with system records (ERP/manual)
- Identify shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies

2. Inventory Control (Diamond Specific)

- Verify diamond packets, certifications, and tagging
- Check weight, quality, and stone details as per records
- Ensure proper handling and storage of high-value inventory

3. Accounts & Billing Audit

- Review daily sales transactions, invoices, and billing entries
- Verify cash, card, UPI, and other payment reconciliations
- Check purchase entries and stock inward records
- Ensure proper documentation for all transactions

4. Compliance & SOP Check

- Ensure showroom follows company policies and SOPs
- Verify KYC compliance (if applicable for high-value sales)
- Check security procedures for stock handling

Reporting & Documentation

- Prepare detailed audit reports after each visit
- Highlight discrepancies, risks, and process gaps
- Suggest corrective actions and improvements
- Share reports with management and follow up on closures

6. Fraud Detection & Risk Control

- Identify potential fraud, theft, or mismanagement
- Conduct surprise audits if required
- Ensure internal controls are effectively implemented

7. Coordination

- Work closely with showroom managers and accounts team
- Assist in stock reconciliation and audit closures

Skills & Requirements :

- Experience in diamond/jewellery industry auditing preferred
- Robust knowledge of inventory management and accounting
- Understanding of diamond grading, certification, and valuation (preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- High attention to detail and integrity
- Willingness to travel frequently

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
