Job Description

Coordinate high-performance academy and university sports teams, including athlete selection trials, training schedules, competition participation and performance monitoring.

Facilitate student-athlete admissions, sports scholarships, academic coordination, grievance resolution and athlete contract administration.

Plan and coordinate AIU championships, intercollegiate tournaments, federation competitions, sports camps and other sporting events, including registrations, logistics and stakeholder communication.

Coordinate with coaches, sports departments, institutes and university management to ensure effective delivery of sports programmes and athlete development initiatives.

Manage recruitment and onboarding of part-time coaches and interns, and coordinate coaching schedules and resource requirements.

Liaise with AIU, sports federations, associations, universities, clubs and academies to facilitate competitions, athlete opportunities and strategic partnerships.

Coordinate sports equipment and team kit requirements, procurement follow-ups, inventory records and resource utilisation.

Maintain athlete databases, competition results, participation records, contracts, coaching reports and other sports-related documentation.

Prepare official correspondence, reports, event documents and presentations, while ensuring compliance with institutional policies, sports regulations and athlete welfare standards.

Identify and support initiatives to enhance sports participation, high-performance programmes, athlete engagement and the overall operational effectiveness of Somaiya Sports Academy.
