Role Description The Mechanical Designer role at Dhiraj Rigs Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Gandhinagar. The Mechanical Designer will create and refine technical drawings and 3D models for water well drilling rigs and related mechanical systems, ensuring alignment with performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with engineering and production teams, preparing detailed design documentation, supporting prototype development, and making design updates based on testing, feedback, and field performance. The role involves working with CAD tools,



participating in design reviews, and contributing to cost-effective, durable, and maintenance-friendly product solutions suited to diverse operating environments. Qualifications
• Robust foundation in Mechanical Engineering concepts and Machine Design, with the ability to apply them to heavy equipment or industrial machinery.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D modeling, and experience producing accurate technical drawings.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D;), including evaluating design alternatives, improving existing designs, and supporting prototype testing.
• Ability to design simple, robust, and easily maintainable mechanical systems suitable for challenging field conditions.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials selection, and basic quality and safety standards relevant to mechanical equipment.
• Prior experience in rig design, heavy machinery, or similar industrial products is an advantage.
