Video Editor The RoleWe're looking for a video editor with a strong sense of design and the creativity to turn ideas into visually engaging videos.

This role goes beyond cutting clips together. You'll need to understand how typography, composition, color, motion, and visual hierarchy work together to make content look polished and communicate ideas effectively.

You'll work with raw footage, screen recordings, and prepared scripts to create videos that are engaging, visually distinctive, and easy to follow.

What You'll Do

- Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form content using raw footage and prepared scripts.
- Develop creative visual treatments for different topics, using graphics, typography, motion, screenshots, screen recordings, and relevant footage.
- Translate abstract ideas into clear visual explanations through creative editing and visual storytelling.
- Make thoughtful decisions about pacing, transitions, layouts, animations, and on-screen text.
- Maintain strong visual consistency while adapting the editing style to the content.
- Improve viewer engagement through effective storytelling, visual variety, and well-timed information.
- Incorporate feedback, refine edits, and deliver polished videos within agreed timelines.
- Keep up with interesting editing styles, design trends, and creative formats that could improve our content.

What We're Looking ForDesign understanding and creative thinking are must-haves.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has a strong eye for design, typography, composition, color, and visual hierarchy.




- Can come up with creative ways to present information rather than relying on standard editing templates.
- Understands how to use visuals to explain complex ideas and hold attention.
- Has a good sense of pacing, storytelling, and motion.
- Can take a script or brief and independently think through how to make it visually interesting.
- Is comfortable experimenting with different styles and learning new techniques.
- Is proficient with video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut. Familiarity with After Effects or other motion design tools is a plus.
- Pays attention to detail, responds well to feedback, and meets deadlines.
