Role Description The Video Editor role at Arown Academy is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling video content for educational programs, promotional campaigns, and social media channels, ensuring alignment with the academy’s brand and messaging. Daily tasks include reviewing raw footage, selecting key clips, trimming and sequencing segments, applying transitions, audio synchronization, and color correction. The role also involves collaborating with the academic and marketing teams to understand content objectives, incorporating motion graphics and visual elements,



and delivering final outputs in required formats and resolutions.

The Video

Editor will maintain organized project files, meet production timelines, and contribute creative ideas to improve learner engagement and content quality.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing, including handling raw footage and assembling polished final outputs.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, professional visual quality across all content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging visual elements, titles, and animations for educational and promotional videos.
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines, work with storyboards or scripts, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in educational, training, or marketing content production is an advantage.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Communication, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
