Role Description The Technical Sales Engineer role at FAG Controls is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolhapur. This role involves engaging with manufacturing clients to understand their automation needs, proposing suitable technical solutions, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry through implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations, preparing technical proposals and quotations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility.

The Technical Sales

Engineer will maintain relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities,



and contribute to achieving sales targets while representing FAG Controls at meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Technical Sales and Sales skills to manage the complete sales cycle and drive business growth.
- Candidates should possess Sales Engineering skills to translate customer requirements into practical automation solutions.
- Candidates should possess Technical Support skills to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to present solutions clearly, negotiate effectively, and collaborate with internal teams.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical background.
- Understanding of industrial automation systems, PLCs, drives, sensors, and control panels is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations, conduct field visits, and perform hands-on evaluations when required.
- Strong problem-solving, presentation, and relationship-building abilities, with a focus on ethical and customer-centric sales practices.
