Role Description The Study Abroad Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. The counselor will guide prospective students through the entire study abroad process, including initial counseling, program selection, university shortlisting, and application planning. Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one and group counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, timelines, and documentation, and helping students prepare competitive applications.

The role involves coordinating with universities and partners, maintaining accurate student records, and following up on applications and admissions decisions. The counselor will also contribute to outreach activities, seminars, and information sessions,



respond promptly to inquiries, and collaborate with the team to ensure a supportive and informed experience for every student.

Qualifications

- Strong counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student goals and provide clear, individualized guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluent spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex processes in a simple, structured way.
- Knowledge of international education systems, admission requirements, and study visa processes for major destinations (e.g., US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe).
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software) and CRM or student management systems.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in handling documents, deadlines, and student records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners, while maintaining a student-centric approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or international studies is an advantage.
- Prior experience in study abroad counseling, academic advising, or education consulting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort in working in an on-site environment in Noida, with flexibility to support events, workshops, and extended counseling sessions when needed.
