AI/Sr AI Engineer (Agentic AI & Generative AI)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven AI Engineer to help shape the future of AI-powered solutions for the Financial Services industry. As a team member, you will work closely with the founders, contribute to product strategy, and develop cutting-edge AI solutions that solve real-world business challenges.

In this role, you will:

- Work directly with the founding team as a core contributor to the company's growth and success.
- Develop innovative AI and Generative AI solutions for Financial Services clients.
- Design, build, and refine datasets to evaluate, benchmark, and continuously improve AI systems.
- Contribute to product strategy, solution architecture, and roadmap planning.
- Experiment with emerging AI technologies and help transform research into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Agentic AI & Generative AI Development

· Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).

· Build multi-agent and multimodal AI systems using frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, and related orchestration platforms.

· Develop AI workflows capable of reasoning, planning, tool utilization, and autonomous task execution.

AI Research & Innovation

· Research and implement advanced AI techniques, including:

o Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

o Semantic Search o Knowledge Graphs and Knowledge Representation o Fine-Tuning and Model Adaptation o Prompt Engineering o LLM Evaluation and Reasoning Frameworks

- Stay current with evolving AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to client use cases.

AI Engineering & Solution Development

- Build production-grade AI applications and APIs using up-to-date development frameworks.
- Architect robust backend services and scalable AI infrastructure.
- Develop and optimize model inference pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Data & Evaluation





- Create high-quality datasets for model training, testing, benchmarking, and evaluation.
- Establish evaluation frameworks to monitor model performance, accuracy, robustness, and safety.

MLOps & Model Lifecycle Management

- Automate model deployment, monitoring, versioning, and retraining processes.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for machine learning and AI applications.
- Ensure proper governance, reproducibility, and traceability of models and datasets.

Collaboration & Customer Focus

- Collaborate closely with product teams, data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Understand business challenges deeply and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
- Drive customer-centric innovation with a focus on measurable business outcomes.

Optimization & Engineering Excellence

- Review, refactor, and optimize machine learning and AI application code.
- Implement best practices for software engineering, testing, security, and scalability.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, MLOps, or related technical roles.
- Strong programming expertise in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
- Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and modern AI concepts.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Generative AI applications
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Natural Language Processing (NLP)
- AI agent frameworks




- Experience building datasets for training, evaluation, or benchmarking machine learning models.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup or high-growth environment.

Preferred Technical Skills

Experience with the following technologies is highly desirable:

- Programming & AI Frameworks: Python, FastAPI, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch
- Agentic AI Frameworks: LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI
- Databases: PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, Alembic, Vector Databases
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Frontend Technologies: TypeScript, React
- MLOps Tools: MLflow, Weights & Biases, experiment tracking and model versioning platforms
- Data Orchestration: Apache Airflow, Prefect
