SafarTrak builds IoT and telematics solutions for fleet operations, vehicle tracking and temperature monitoring. We are hiring a Software Engineer for a full-time remote role in India.

Responsibilities

•

- Build and maintain reliable web applications, backend services and APIs for fleet management workflows.

•
- Work on live vehicle data, dashboards, alerts, reporting and integrations.

•
- Write readable, testable code and participate in code reviews.

•
- Investigate bugs and improve application performance and reliability.

•
- Follow secure development practices and document technical changes.

•
- Collaborate with product, QA and operations to deliver features through testing and release.

Requirements

•




- Hands-on software development experience and robust programming fundamentals.

•
- Understanding of web applications, REST APIs and databases.

•
- Familiarity with Git, debugging and automated testing.

•
- Ability to explain technical decisions and work independently in a remote team.

•

Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Node.js is useful.

•

- Exposure to cloud services, IoT, telemetry or real-time data systems is helpful.
