About the Role: We are looking for a Automation Engineer with 3- 5 years of experience in software test automation, with strong hands-on expertise in TypeScript and Playwright. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications.

You will work closely with developers and product teams to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle, improve test coverage, and accelerate release cycles. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, has strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and can independently drive automation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

- Test Automation: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using TypeScript and Playwright for web applications and APIs.
- Framework Development: Build, enhance, and maintain scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks.
- Test Strategy: Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define automation strategies, identify test scenarios, and improve overall test coverage.
- Functional & Regression Testing: Develop and maintain automated suites for functional, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing.
- API Testing: Develop automated API tests to validate endpoints, integrations, data integrity, and error-handling scenarios.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback.
- Defect Management: Identify, reproduce, debug, and report defects with clear documentation and actionable insights.

Required Skills & Experience:





- 3–5 years of experience in software testing and test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with TypeScript and Playwright for browser automation and end-to-end testing.
- Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch or extending existing frameworks.
- Experience with API testing and automation using tools or frameworks such as Playwright API, Postman, or similar.
- Proficiency in debugging test failures, identifying root causes, and handling flaky tests.
- Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.

Positive to Have:

- Experience working in the Blockchain/Web3 domain.
- Exposure to AI/GenAI-related products or applications.
- Experience with API testing and integration testing.
- Familiarity with CI/CD and automation execution pipelines.
