Job Responsibilities

- Shape platforms for strategic growth initiatives, driving development and influencing design decisions to build consensus.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle through coaching, R&D;, proof of concepts, prototyping, development, and code review.
- Administer training throughout various phases of the development cycle.
- Influence development practices to ensure compliance with best practices, policies, and procedures.

Required Skills

- Adherence to and implementation of enterprise quality standards, processes, and tools.
- Development and implementation of build control strategies or QA tools/processes.
- Interaction with business and development teams to define test plans and schedules.
- Translation of complex system requirements and specifications into test requirements and testing methods.
- Mentoring peers and guiding less experienced team members.
- Experience in automation testing using tools like TestNG, Appium, Selenium, Rest Assured,



and other mobile automation tools.
- Proficiency in writing test scripts in Java.
- Knowledge of the software testing life cycle, including test planning, test design and execution, defect management, and test reporting.
- Hands-on experience in functional, regression, system, and UAT testing.
- Excellent defect finding, debugging, and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Strong communication skills and team handling capabilities.
- Understanding and experience with software development processes such as Scrum, Secure, Extreme Programming, and/or Lean.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Confluence, JIRA, and Rally.
- 5-7 years of automation testing experience.

Additional/Desirable Capabilities

- Experience testing solutions for large-scale deployments, including large enterprises or service providers, banking, or payment solutions.
- Identification and implementation of more complex automation efforts.
- Management of medium-sized projects/initiatives as an individual contributor with advanced knowledge within the discipline, leading a segment of several initiatives or a larger initiative, or formal supervision of a small team with day-to-day work assignments.
