The Attention Co. is a content and personal branding studio working across podcasts, digital content, and audience growth. We work with founders, leaders, creators, and experts to bring meaningful conversations to a wider audience. We’re looking for a Social Media Lead who enjoys podcasts as a medium and wants to help build shows people choose to spend time with.

About the Role
You should already listen to English-language podcasts out of curiosity. You have favourite shows, remember conversations that changed your thinking, and enjoy discovering people with something worthwhile to say. Our work centres on thoughtful conversations about business, science, health, psychology, culture, and how people live and work. You should enjoy finding the story, question, or practical insight that makes a conversation worth someone’s attention. You’ll bring that judgment to content planning, clip selection, creative briefs, writing, publishing, and audience growth. You’ll work closely with the founder, producers, researchers, editors, and designers to help each show find its audience. What You’ll Do
• Understand the conversation: Watch full episodes, follow the ideas, and identify what makes each guest and discussion interesting.
• Find strong moments: Select clips with a compelling opening, enough context to stand alone, and a clear insight or payoff. Preserve what the speaker means.
• Plan episode releases: Build campaigns across trailers, Reels, Shorts, carousels, Stories, and full-episode promotion.
• Guide the creative team: Brief editors and designers clearly, review their work, and give specific feedback on storytelling, pacing, captions, and visuals.
• Write and package content: Develop hooks, captions, titles, descriptions,



and thumbnail ideas that make people curious and accurately represent the conversation.
• Own publishing: Maintain calendars, coordinate approvals, and keep content moving consistently across Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Understand the audience: Read comments, study viewing behaviour, and identify the questions and ideas people respond to.
• Improve through experimentation: Test formats and packaging, review results, and use what you learn to shape future content. Who We’re Looking ForA real interest in thoughtful English-language podcasts is essential. You should be able to talk about what you listen to, why you return to certain shows, and what makes a conversation work. Beyond that, we’re looking for someone who:
• Is curious about people and ideas, asks good questions, and enjoys learning.
• Can recognise a useful insight, an unexpected perspective, or a story worth exploring.
• Writes clear, engaging English and can simplify an idea without losing its meaning.
• Has experience taking responsibility for content or social media projects.
• Is organised, dependable, and comfortable coordinating with a creative team.
• Takes feedback well and is willing to build their skills in analytics, packaging, and distribution. Experience with podcasts, YouTube channels, editorial content, or creator-led brands would be useful. Your judgment, curiosity, and willingness to take ownership matter more than knowing every tool.
