Role Description The Project Director – Academic and Institutional Development is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for leading strategic academic initiatives, including planning, developing, and implementing programs and projects that strengthen the university’s academic quality, institutional growth, and stakeholder engagement. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with leadership, faculty, and administrative teams to design academic frameworks, policies, and collaborations; overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables; and monitoring outcomes using qualitative and quantitative metrics. The Project Director will also drive accreditation and quality assurance efforts,



prepare reports and presentations for senior management, represent the institution in external academic and regulatory forums, and support partnerships with other universities, healthcare organizations, and research bodies. The role requires regular documentation, process improvement, and effective communication to ensure alignment between institutional strategy and operational execution. Qualifications
• Strong academic leadership and institutional development skills, with experience in designing and implementing higher education or health sciences programs.
• Project planning, management, and execution skills, including the ability to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and meet defined timelines and outcomes.
• Strategic thinking and policy development skills, with experience in academic governance, accreditation, and quality assurance processes.
• Stakeholder management and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with leadership, faculty, administrative teams, and external partners.
• Analytical and research skills for data-driven decision-making, reporting, and evaluation of academic and institutional projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare professional documents, proposals, and presentations.
• Master’s degree or higher in Education, Health Administration, Management, Public Policy, or a related field; a doctoral degree is an advantage.
• Prior experience in academic administration or institutional development within a university, medical college, or healthcare education environment is highly preferred.
