About the Team The Growth Product Management team at Chargebee is a diverse group of strategic thinkers dedicated to building the future of subscription monetization workflows that sit on top of Billing platforms. We focus on creating seamless, scalable solutions that empower global businesses to manage complex growth experiments across their subscriber journeys. Our team enables our merchants to optimize their key subscriber journeys to increase growth KPIs like conversion, NRR, gross churn and ultimately subscriber LTV. About the role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will take full portfolio ownership of post-sales workflows, specifically leading the product strategy and execution for our industry leading retention solution from day one on the job. You will immediately step in to manage these critical customer workflows, utilizing AI-native capabilities and rigorous experimentation to optimize subscriber retention and growth. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer empathy to deliver high-impact features that directly influence global business outcomes.



You will be expected to work in Cursor/Claude/Lovable to generate rich prototypes and product specs and to build high fidelity solutions that can be handed off to engineering to implement in an AI software stack.

What you'll do
• Drive the product strategy and execution for the retention solution, focusing on increasing merchant adoption and session volume across the platform.
• Develop and scale flexible end-user experiences supported by Model Context Protocol (MCP) tooling and AI-native administrative capabilities. Chargebee Confidential — for internal hiring use only. Page 1 of 6
• Design and implement rigorous experimentation frameworks to optimize subscriber retention and increase Net Revenue Retention (NRR) for merchants.
• Collaborate with the workflow optimization team to integrate retention solutions into the broader pre
- and post-purchase subscriber journeys.
• Translate complex merchant requirements into high-fidelity prototypes and technical specifications using modern AI-assisted development tools.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to expand the solution's reach to both Chargebee billing and non-billing merchants.
• Analyze product adoption metrics and merchant outcomes to continuously refine the roadmap and maintain an industry-leading retention offering.
• Contribute to the growth team culture in Bengaluru by mentoring peers and driving strategic alignment across the regional product organization. What you'll bring
• 5+ years of experience in product management within high-growth B2B SaaS or technology environments.
• 5+ years of experience managing high-volume, PLG-focused product workflows, specifically within consumer-facing or high-scale user environments.




• Proven track record of designing and implementing rigorous A/B testing methodologies and data-driven experimentation frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to build AI-native products or features that leverage modern machine learning frameworks to drive user outcomes.
• Hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar standardized communication layers for AI-enabled systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery to global launch.
• Strong technical proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools to generate high-fidelity prototypes and product specifications.
• Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies for diverse stakeholders. Nice to have

• Familiarity with prompt engineering and fine-tuning AI models for specific business applications.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools for deep-dive product analytics.
