Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior OpenText Exstream Cloud-Native Developer to design, develop, implement, and support enterprise-scale Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in OpenText Exstream Cloud Native, including Communication Server, Content Author, and Empower, along with experience in cloud platforms, application integration, and up-to-date DevOps practices. This role involves developing scalable document generation solutions, leading legacy system migrations, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality customer communication solutions. The role also includes mentoring team members, coordinating with infrastructure and DevOps teams, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. OpenText Exstream Development & Integration
• Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise-level document generation and customer communication solutions using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native.
• Work extensively with Communication Server, Content Author, and Empower modules.
• Develop and maintain dynamic document templates, communication workflows, and data mappings.
• Integrate OpenText Exstream with enterprise applications using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• Support high-volume batch and real-time document generation processes. 2. Cloud-Native Architecture & Deployment
• Configure, deploy, and manage OpenText Exstream Cloud Native applications across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments.
• Support microservices-based architectures and cloud-native application integrations.




• Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to ensure application scalability, availability, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. 3. Legacy Migration & Modernization
• Lead or contribute to migration initiatives from legacy OpenText Exstream environments to Exstream Cloud Native.
• Assess existing applications, templates, configurations, and integration dependencies.
• Plan and execute migrations while minimizing business disruption.
• Validate migrated solutions for functionality, performance, and compatibility. 4. System Administration & Performance Optimization
• Administer and maintain OpenText Exstream Cloud Native environments across development, testing, staging, and production.
• Manage application configurations, code repositories, content components, and release processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Optimize document generation performance, resource utilization, and application scalability. 5. Technical Leadership & Collaboration
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship to junior developers.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment procedures.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and enterprise development best practices. Required Technical Skills
• OpenText Exstream: Strong hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native, particularly Communication Server, Content Author, and Empower.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Programming: Proficiency in Java, C++, or SQL, with strong application development and troubleshooting skills.
• Data Formats: Experience working with JSON, XML, and HTML for document design, formatting, and data mapping.
• Microservices: Good understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native application development.
• API Integration:



Hands-on experience integrating enterprise applications using RESTful and SOAP APIs.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated deployment practices.
• Database Management: Strong SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, queries, and data integration.
• Security: Understanding of cloud application security, identity and access management, and secure integration practices.
• Performance Optimization: Experience troubleshooting and optimizing enterprise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated professional experience in OpenText Exstream development, implementation, and enterprise integration.
• Hands-on experience with OpenText Exstream Cloud Native components.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise-scale Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, release management, and deployment processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take technical ownership, and collaborate with distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience migrating legacy OpenText Exstream implementations to cloud-native environments.
• Experience with high-volume document generation, batch processing, and real-time customer communications.
• Familiarity with containerized deployment architectures and Kubernetes-based environments.

• Knowledge of document composition, template management, and multichannel communication delivery.
