IndiaLaw LLP is looking for an accomplished and commercially driven Senior Lawyer – IBC & Banking Litigation to join our Mumbai team.

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional with substantial law firm experience and a robust track record in insolvency, banking litigation, NCLT and DRT proceedings, and company law disputes. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership capabilities, strong client management skills, and the ability to drive business development while nurturing and retaining existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle complex litigation and advisory matters involving the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), banking and finance laws, and company law.
- Represent clients before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), and other relevant judicial and quasi-judicial forums.
- Manage company law disputes, insolvency proceedings, debt recovery matters, and related litigation.




- Lead, mentor, and manage legal teams, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Drive business development initiatives, generate new mandates, and contribute to the growth of the firm's litigation practice.
- Strengthen existing client relationships and actively focus on client retention and repeat mandates.

Candidate Requirements

- LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in a law firm, with a strong focus on IBC, banking litigation, NCLT, DRT, and company litigation - Mumbai focused.
- Demonstrated experience in managing litigation teams and complex client mandates.
- Proven capabilities in business generation, client acquisition, relationship management, and retention of existing
