We are looking for a Senior Architect to join our Mumbai office, delivering projects in India and across the APAC region as well as supporting other Hyphen offices to work on projects in Europe and LATAM..

About the role

You will lead project teams through all stages of architectural delivery, combining technical expertise with client management and team development. You will take responsibility for project quality, programme and financial performance, while helping colleagues develop their skills and confidence.

What you will do

- Lead architectural projects and act as the day-to-day contact for clients.
- Oversee designs, drawings, specifications, construction documentation and detailing.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and lead Revit and Forma model coordination.
- Manage project programmes, resource requirements, budgets and quality standards.
- Lead design and client meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-through.
- Oversee contract administration and fulfil Hyphen’s project responsibilities.
- Lead, support and mentor colleagues, contributing to performance reviews, training and career development.
- Help create a respectful,



supportive working workplace where people collaborate effectively and take pride in their work.

What you will bring

- A degree in Architecture or a related built-environment discipline.
- Indian architectural qualification and registration. We will also consider professionals with other construction-related qualifications who demonstrate the relevant skills and experience.
- At least 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience across architectural project stages, ideally within data centres, retail, mixed-use or hospitality.
- A proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate technical delivery.
- Strong technical software skills, particularly Revit and Forma.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Confident client communication and sound commercial awareness.

Experience working with international clients and a postgraduate qualification in Architecture or a related discipline would be an advantage. You should hold a valid passport and be able to travel to the UK and Europe for business when required. You should also be available to join within two months of receiving an offer.
