About the job
Complyance is a fast-growing e-invoicing and tax compliance SaaS company. Through a single API, we help businesses meet e-invoicing mandates across markets, including the UAE and Saudi Arabia’s ZATCA requirements, without rebuilding their finance systems every time a regulation changes.
With a strong and growing MENA footprint, we work with finance and tax teams who need compliance to be reliable, quick and invisible. Our platform is live across 10+ jurisdictions, and we are now expanding from a strong base in MENA and India into Europe and the US.
A company that helps others stay compliant has to be compliant itself, across multiple entities and jurisdictions. That is the job.
Life at Complyance :
We are a lean, high-ownership team that cares about doing the basics exceptionally well. In finance and compliance, that means accuracy, timeliness and clean records, and we take them seriously.
The mission :
As Senior Accounts Executive – Finance & Compliance, you will drive financial reporting, statutory compliance, reconciliations and MIS support in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
You will manage the month-end and year-end close, support audits and statutory filings across India and Dubai, and give leadership the numbers they need through monthly MIS reporting.
Where you’ll leave your mark
- Own the close: Manage month-end and year-end financial close activities, audits and compliance reporting.
- Keep the ledger accurate: Review General Ledger balances and ensure accurate cost-centre-wise allocation of expenses.
- Post with precision: Review and post non-cash journals, including accruals, provisions and other month-end accounting entries.
- Get audit- and reporting-ready: Prepare audit schedules and assist in preparing financial statements under IGAAP and Ind AS/IFRS reporting frameworks.
- Get payroll accounting right:
Calculate variable pay and review payroll-related accounting to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
- Stay on top of statutory compliance: Manage filings for TDS, GST, VAT (Dubai), Income Tax and secretarial matters, and export-related compliances with the AD banker (preferred).
- Power the monthly MIS: Prepare and review schedules for Accounts Receivable (AR) outstanding, commission accruals, bad debt provisions, ARR monitoring and burn rate analysis.
- Tie out across the group: Perform intercompany reconciliations and tie-outs across group entities.
The kind of person we’re looking for :
You’ll likely thrive in this role if you:
- Are a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Have strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and regulatory compliance.
- Have experience in audit support, financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Understand payroll accounting, accruals and provisioning.
- Are proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Bring strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
In short: a qualified CA with strong accounting and compliance fundamentals, ready to drive reporting, compliance, reconciliations and MIS support. A SaaS, services, technology or MNC background is preferred.
Bonus points :
- Exposure to Transfer Pricing and Tax Audit matters.
- Experience in SaaS, multinational or high-growth organisations.
- Knowledge of Zoho Books, NetSuite, SAP or similar ERP platforms.
Why Complyance?
- Competitive base salary. The range will be shared with shortlisted candidates.
- Comprehensive benefits, including health insurance for you and your family and paid time off.
- The chance to build for a category that is being shaped by regulation right now, across some of the fastest-moving e-invoicing markets in the world.
- A lean, collaborative team where your work is visible and your decisions matter.
