We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Officer to manage vessel enquiries, coordinate with clients, support marketing initiatives, and drive consistent follow-up to convert leads into long-term business relationships. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client coordination within the maritime, shipping, or allied industries, and is comfortable working directly with ship owners, operators, and brokers.

Key Responsibilities

Handle incoming vessel enquiries promptly and accurately, gathering all necessary details to route them to the relevant internal teams.

Act as the primary point of contact for client coordination, ensuring smooth communication between clients, principals, and internal operations/technical teams.

Maintain consistent and timely follow-up on open enquiries, quotations, and ongoing client discussions to maximize conversion and client satisfaction.

Support the planning and execution of marketing activities, including email campaigns, brochures, presentations, and digital/social media content promoting the company's services.





Build and maintain a database of clients, vessel owners, operators, and industry contacts (CRM upkeep and reporting).

Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and service presentations tailored to client requirements.

Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities.

Coordinate participation in maritime industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility.

Prepare periodic reports on enquiry status, client engagement, and marketing performance for management review.

Liaise with overseas offices, agents, and partners as needed to support international client coordination.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime Studies, or a related field (Nautical/Marine background is an advantage).
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, business development, client coordination, or marketing, preferably within the maritime, shipping, or logistics sector.
- Working knowledge of vessel enquiry handling, ship broking, or maritime service sales is highly desirable.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft professional client correspondence.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Good interpersonal skills to build and sustain relationships with clients, agents, and overseas partners.
