Are you an experienced SAP ABAP professional with deep expertise in SAP Advanced Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP)? We are looking for a seasoned SAP ATTP ABAP Lead Consultant to lead global implementations, rollouts, enhancements, and support engagements in a highly regulated pharmaceutical workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead technical design and ABAP development for SAP ATTP implementations, global rollouts, enhancements, and production support.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions for pharmaceutical serialization and track-and-trace processes.
- Develop and maintain custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and integration components.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, integration teams, and external partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Design and manage integrations between SAP ATTP, SAP ERP/S4HANA, packaging systems, warehouse systems, and external serialization platforms.
- Drive technical delivery, effort estimations, development standards, code reviews, and technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement sustainable performance improvements.
- Mentor and guide a team of 20+ ABAP developers while coordinating activities across onshore and offshore teams.
- Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical serialization regulations and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience ✅ 10+ years of overall SAP ABAP experience

✅ 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ATTP ABAP implementations, rollouts, and support





✅ At least one end-to-end SAP ATTP lifecycle implementation covering:

- Requirements Gathering
- Solution Design
- Development
- Testing
- Deployment
- Hypercare & Post-Go-Live Support

✅ Strong expertise in:
- SAP ABAP & Object-Oriented ABAP
- Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits
- Debugging & Performance Tuning
- Technical Design & Code Reviews

✅ Excellent understanding of:
- SAP ATTP Technical Architecture
- Serialization & Track-and-Trace Processes
- GS1 Standards
- Aggregation / Disaggregation
- Commissioning & Decommissioning
- Serialized Product Tracking

✅ Strong integration experience using:
- IDocs
- RFCs
- AIF
- Interface Monitoring & Traces
- SAP and Non-SAP System Integrations

✅ Expertise in:
- SAP HANA Database Architecture
- SQL Performance Optimization
- Query Execution & Database Tuning
- Root Cause Analysis across Application, Database, and Infrastructure Layers

Preferred Experience
- Pharmaceutical industry serialization projects.
- Experience with Computer System Validation (CSV), Change Control, and GxP documentation processes.
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Regulatory Knowledge (Highly Preferred) Experience working with global serialization regulations such as:
- US DSCSA
- EU FMD
- Brazil ANVISA
- China Serialization Regulations
- India Serialization Requirements
