Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Chennai.

The Sales

Officer is responsible for promoting and selling life insurance products, engaging with prospective and existing customers, and building strong relationships through branch and channel networks. Daily activities include identifying and generating leads, explaining product features and benefits, conducting needs-based sales conversations, and ensuring timely completion of proposals and documentation. The role involves coordinating with bank staff and internal teams to support sales operations, tracking individual performance against targets,



and maintaining accurate records in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Sales

Officer is expected to provide responsive customer service, address queries and concerns, and contribute to the growth of business in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and provide explicit, reliable support.
- Candidates should possess Lead Generation and prospecting skills to identify opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Sales Operations skills to manage documentation, sales processes, and follow-up activities efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Channel Sales skills to collaborate with bank branches and partners for business development.
- Relevant experience in insurance, financial services, or banking sales is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work toward targets, strong interpersonal skills, basic computer proficiency, and familiarity with local market dynamics will be an advantage.
