Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in the Greater Chennai Area.

The Sales

Engineer will engage with existing and prospective customers to understand their manufacturing requirements, recommend suitable Mazak machine tools and solutions, and support the sales process from initial inquiry through order closure. Day-to-day activities include conducting technical demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating with technical and service teams,



and providing pre- and post-sales technical support. The role involves regular customer visits, maintaining relationships, gathering market feedback, and contributing to sales targets in the assigned territory.

The Sales

Engineer will also participate in events, trainings, and technology presentations to stay current with Mazak’s product portfolio and industry trends.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills for machine tools or industrial equipment.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust and maintain long-term relationships.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales skills, including opportunity identification, negotiation, and closing.
- Candidates should ideally have knowledge of CNC machines, manufacturing processes, or mechanical/production engineering.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Production, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within the region, and collaborate with cross-functional teams is important.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, is advantageous.
