Job Title: Hardware Design Automation Engineer (Static Checks & Scripting)

Role Overview

We are seeking an engineer with strong software automation and scripting capabilities to support and scale our static verification flows. While foundational familiarity with digital design concepts is helpful, strong Python and up-to-date automation skills are the primary focus—we are fully equipped to train engineers on RTL design and static check domain specifics.

Note: If you come across somebody who is very confident and academically strong, the team is ready to train them.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation scripts and tool wrappers using Python and TCL for static verification pipelines.
- Explore and integrate modern automation frameworks and AI-driven workflows to streamline log parsing, report triage, and regression efficiency.
- Run, debug, and monitor static analysis checks (Lint, CDC, and RDC) across blocks and subsystems.
- Perform log parsing, error triage,



and root-cause analysis to support hardware design teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Scripting & Automation (Primary Focus): Strong proficiency in Python for building robust automation flows, data parsing, and tool integration. Working knowledge of TCL for EDA tool scripting.
- Modern Automation & AI: Familiarity with or keen interest in leveraging AI/ML tools, LLMs, or modern automation methodologies to improve engineering productivity and debugging workflows.
- Digital Design & Static Checks: Basic understanding of digital design fundamentals, ASIC flows, or static checks (Lint, CDC, RDC using tools like Synopsys SpyGlass or Cadence JasperGold) is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided.
- Analytical & Debugging Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with the aptitude to analyze complex logs, identify patterns, and automate repetitive tasks.
- Academics & Drive: Exceptional academic background, high confidence, and a strong drive to learn hardware domain specifics quickly.
