Role Description The Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. This role is responsible for overseeing all quality assurance activities for automotive cable production, including developing and implementing quality standards and procedures. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring production processes, conducting inspections and audits, analyzing quality data, and coordinating corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.

The Quality Assurance

Manager collaborates closely with production, engineering, and R&D; teams to drive quality improvements, reduce defects, and support eco-friendly manufacturing practices. The role also involves preparing quality documentation,



training team members on quality protocols, and supporting customer audits and certifications.

Qualifications

- Experience with quality management systems, process audits, and compliance with relevant automotive or manufacturing standards (e.g., ISO/TS or IATF standards).
- Strong skills in quality control methodologies, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools such as CAPA, FMEA, or statistical process control.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, preferably in cables, automotive components, or related industries, including familiarity with eco-friendly materials and practices.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test reports, and to develop clear quality procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and to lead quality training and awareness initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field; advanced certifications in quality (such as Six Sigma or CQE) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial quality assurance role, with a track record of driving measurable quality improvements.
