108 Bespoke

Bengaluru

Company Description 108 Bespoke is Bangalore’s exclusive bespoke fabric and tailoring service, specializing in custom men’s and women’s suits, shirts, and trousers delivered directly to customers’ homes or offices. With over 40 years of experience in the garment industry, the company focuses on fully customized, high-quality formalwear and office wear. Each garment is handcrafted from scratch to precise measurements taken at the customer’s preferred location, using carefully selected fabrics from around the world. 108 Bespoke aims to make high-end, tailored fashion convenient and accessible by offering quick turnaround times and door-to-door service.

The company is committed to eliminating the inconvenience of traditional tailoring while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and fit.

About the roleThe Production Supervisor runs the bespoke workshop day to day: every work order item that comes in from the five 108 Bespoke studios (Indiranagar, Sheshadripuram, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad) is cut, stitched, trialled and delivered on the promised date, by the right master tailor and tailor, with the fabric and trims in hand. You own the floor, the plan and the record of what happened — and you are the one person who always knows where every garment is.

This is a hands-on, on-the-floor role in the Bangalore workshop, reporting to the Founder. You will work with a production team of about 7 master tailors and 11 tailors, the designers in each studio, and the inventory team, using the 108 Bespoke Production sheet and the ERP as your tools.

Key responsibilitiesProduction control

- Plan each day's cutting and stitching from the DUE DATE PLAN: which items, which master tailor, which tailor, by when — and reshuffle when a trial, an alteration or an express order comes in.
- Keep every item moving through its stages (fabric arrived → cut → stitched → trial → alteration → delivered) and chase the stage that is late, the same day.
- Flag at-risk due dates to the studio designer before the customer finds out, not after.

Fabric and trims

- Check daily that fabric, lining, buttons, buckles and other trims for each work order have arrived, and mark arrivals in the FABRIC TRACKER.

- Raise missing or short fabric with the inventory team and the studio immediately; never let a tailor sit idle waiting for cloth.

Tailor allocation and output

- Allocate work by skill and load across master tailors and tailors; keep the daily output per tailor visible and fair.
- Record every cut and every stitched item in STITCHED ITEMS the same day, with the master tailor, tailor, dates and status, so the ERP and dashboards update automatically.
- Mark items Done in the daily sheet when they are finished; move unfinished items to the next day's plan.

Quality and trials

- Inspect garments before trial and before delivery against the design sheet and the customer's measurements; send defects back to the tailor with a explicit note.
- Track trial dates and alterations so a garment is never late because of a missed trial.

Record keeping and reporting

- Keep the 108 Bespoke Production Google Sheet and the ERP (Work Item Queue) accurate every day — the automation depends on it. No status should exist only in someone's head.
- Give the Founder a short daily picture: what was cut, what was stitched, what is at risk, what is blocked and why.

People

- Supervise attendance, discipline and workmanship on the floor; coach tailors on finish standards; keep the workshop orderly and safe.

A normal day
1. Morning (by 9:30) — open the DUE DATE PLAN, check overnight fabric arrivals and new work orders, confirm today's cutting list with the master tailors and the stitching list with the tailors.
2. Floor rounds (through the day) — see each item move, inspect finished pieces, chase anything stuck, answer studio designers on status.
3. Afternoon — enter every cut and stitched item in STITCHED ITEMS, tick arrivals in the FABRIC TRACKER, mark Done items in the daily sheet.
4. Evening (by 6:30)

— move unfinished items to tomorrow, press Sync Now so the ERP and dashboards refresh, and send the Founder the day's picture: cut, stitched, at risk, blocked.
