About the Role

We are looking for a business-oriented Marketplace Category Manager to own overall marketplace performance, category growth and profitability. The candidate should understand fashion category dynamics, assortment planning, pricing, inventory management and marketplace operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Own platform-wise and category-wise sales targets, business performance and growth plans across Amazon, Myntra and Flipkart.
- Analyze category and style-color-level performance to identify winning products, declining styles and assortment gaps.
- Drive assortment planning, new product launches and category expansion based on sales trends, customer demand and competitor analysis.
- Manage pricing, discounts, promotions and marketplace sale-event planning to improve sales while protecting margins.
- Coordinate inventory planning and availability, identify stockout risks and reduce missed sales opportunities.
- Monitor listing quality, catalog health, product content, ratings, reviews and returns to improve visibility and conversion.
- Track GMV, units, ASP, sales growth, inventory productivity and contribution margins.




- Build dashboards and analyze month-on-month and year-on-year trends to identify business gaps and actionable growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with advertising, merchandising, inventory, finance and marketplace teams to drive overall business performance.

Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in marketplace category management, e-commerce business management or marketplace operations.
- Hands-on experience managing Amazon, Myntra and Flipkart business.
- Fashion, apparel or lifestyle category experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales planning, assortment, pricing, inventory and marketplace profitability.
- Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge.
- Ability to independently identify business issues, develop action plans and drive execution.
