Role: Functional Test Lead

Experience: 10-12 years

Role Summary: Looking for a Functional Test lead with 10-12 years’ experience to manage end-to-end functional testing activities for one or more projects/applications. Should have very good communication skills and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead testing activities across System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT support

Prepare test plans, test scenarios, test cases, test estimates, execution schedules, and test reports.

Manage test execution, defect tracking, retesting, and closure

Organize/participate in daily stand-ups and defect triage calls

Coordinate with third-party suppliers for defect management and resolution

Monitor and report daily test progress, product quality, test results, risks, and completion status to management

Handle multiple projects and manage testing priorities effectively

Lead and support the test team, ensuring best practices, mentoring, and team development

Manage resources effectively to align with project plans,



timelines, and budgets

Work closely with business stakeholders and project teams to support testing and release readiness

Required Skills

Strong functional testing experience

Experience in System Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and UAT

Ability to manage multiple projects/applications simultaneously

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Proven team handling and leadership experience

Strong process-oriented mindset with focus on quality and governance

Preferred

Experience working in Agile / project delivery environments

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools

Exposure to working with business users and external vendors

Ideal Candidate

Self-driven, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced workplace

SAP knowledge is an addaded advantage
