Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Consultant with robust domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services to perform thorough analysis and articulation of risk or Finance Tech model data requirements. The ideal candidate will identify and understand specific data quality issues to ensure effective delivery of data to users using standard tools. This role involves working with large amounts of data, performing data analysis, and preparing functional documentation based on internal and external regulations.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and validate data using SQL and Excel to support data mapping, access control requirements, and business analysis.
- Manage requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and business process mapping.
- Participate in SIT and UAT test planning and execution, validate security roles and access controls, and coordinate defect resolution via JIRA.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data governance initiatives.




- Perform thorough analysis and articulation of risk or Finance Tech model data requirements.
- Identify and understand specific data quality issues to ensure effective delivery of data to users.
- Work with large amounts of data, including facts, figures, and number crunching.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services.
- Excellent SQL skills with advanced proficiency (7 to 10 years of experience).
- Experience in managing requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in documentation (BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and business process mapping).
- Experience in SIT and UAT test planning and execution.
- Ability to gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data governance initiatives.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with data governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with JIRA for defect resolution.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications in data analysis or project management are a plus.
