Summary

UST is seeking an experienced Power BI Lead to drive enterprise reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Power BI, data analytics, stakeholder management, and team leadership. This role requires an individual who can independently drive deliverables, provide technical guidance, and transform complex business requirements into actionable insights.

The Opportunity

As a Power BI Lead, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and leadership to build impactful dashboards, optimize reporting processes, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into meaningful data visualizations and analytical insights.
- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, scorecards, and KPI tracking solutions.
- Create efficient data models, datasets, and semantic layers for reporting.
- Work closely with business users and stakeholders to understand data and reporting needs.
- Perform data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to support business decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting solutions.
- Optimize report performance and improve dashboard usability and user experience.




- Drive end-to-end delivery of BI initiatives independently while ensuring timely execution.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, business users, and leadership stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on Power BI best practices.
- Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and solution reviews.
- Support production issues, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain documentation, reporting standards, and development processes.

What You Need

Requirements

- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Robust hands-on experience in Power BI development and administration.
- Experience in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
- Ability to independently drive deliverables and manage priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience interacting with business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of reporting, visualization, and business intelligence concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven leadership and team coordination experience.

Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Microsoft Power BI Certifications are preferred.
