WE ARE HIRING JUNIOR PHARMACIST
Metro Mind Hospital | Kalamassery, Kochi, Kerala
Metro Mind Hospital is looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. We welcome both freshers and candidates with relevant experience who are passionate about patient care, medication safety, and professional development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Dispense medications accurately in accordance with valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure the protected and appropriate dispensing of medicines.
- Maintain proper stock levels, inventory records, and expiry-date monitoring.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per applicable guidelines.
- Maintain pharmacy documentation, billing records, and medication registers.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related queries.
- Educate patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and precautions within the scope of practice.
- Follow hospital protocols, pharmacy regulations, and patient-safety standards.
ELIGIBILITY CRITIERIA
- Qualification: B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council, as applicable.
- Freshers are welcome to apply; candidates with 1 year of relevant experience are also encouraged.
- Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- A responsible attitude and commitment to patient safety.
- Candidates from Kerala are preferred.
