Role Description The Junior Merchandiser is a full-time, on-site role based in Karur. This role involves coordinating with internal teams to understand product requirements, support sampling and product development, and ensure accurate communication of specifications to production.

The Junior

Merchandiser will assist in order processing, tracking production status, and monitoring quality and timelines to meet customer expectations.



Day-to-day work includes preparing basic costing and documentation, supporting sales and marketing activities, maintaining product and client records, and responding to buyer queries with explicit and timely information. The role requires close collaboration with senior merchandisers, production, and quality teams to help deliver competitive, high-quality textile and garment products.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with buyers and internal teams.
- Customer Service abilities to handle inquiries, follow up on orders, and maintain positive buyer relationships.
- Sales and Retail awareness to support order follow-up, understand buyer needs, and contribute to business growth.
- Basic Marketing understanding to assist in presenting collections, product features, and supporting promotions.
- Relevant education in textiles, fashion, merchandising, business, or a related field.
- Attention to detail and basic knowledge of fabrics, home textiles, or garments.
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with maintaining data and reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Karur, collaborate with diverse teams, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
