Role Description The Business Manager role is a full time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role oversees day-to-day restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, supervising service quality, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and driving revenue and profitability.

The Business

Manager tracks key performance metrics, manages budgets and cost controls, and coordinates with supply chain and vendor partners to maintain inventory and minimize waste. This position also focuses on guest satisfaction, handling escalations, implementing local marketing initiatives, and supporting training and development of team members. Collaboration with senior management on strategic planning, performance reviews,



and continuous improvement initiatives is a core part of this role.

Qualifications

- Strong operational management skills, including experience overseeing daily restaurant or retail operations and managing budgets and cost controls.
- Proficiency in people management, with experience in staffing, coaching, performance evaluation, and fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track KPIs, prepare reports, and use insights to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
- Customer service and relationship-management skills, with the ability to handle guest feedback, resolve issues, and maintain high service standards.
- Familiarity with inventory management, vendor coordination, and basic supply chain processes relevant to hospitality or food service.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, multi-shift environment.
- Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages in Mumbai Metropolitan Region is an advantage.
- Prior experience in hospitality, restaurant management, or retail business management is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent work experience may also be considered.
