Junior Art Director

Chennai | Full-time

Experience: 4–6 Years

UDM is looking for a Junior Art Director who can translate creative ideas into solid visual direction, guide designers, and take ownership of quality across campaigns and brand communication.

This is a transition role from execution expert to visual leader.

What you’ll do:

- Translate concepts into layouts, visual mood and design language
- Define visual direction for campaigns and key creatives
- Guide designers on layout, typography, colour and consistency
- Review work and provide constructive feedback
- Execute key visuals and critical layouts when required
- Ensure quality, proofing and deadline discipline
- Work closely with Copywriters and Client Servicing teams
- Maintain process discipline and project updates




- Mentor junior designers and support their development

What we’re looking for:

- 4–6 years of relevant design/creative experience
- Strong typography, layout and visual storytelling skills
- Good campaign-level design understanding
- Ability to guide and review other designers
- Clear communication and decision-making skills
- Advanced Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Working knowledge of InDesign
- Strong ownership and team-first mindset
